Warranty Terms
1. Scope of Warranty
Saideh LTD acts as an intermediary connecting homeowners with independent installers. Any installation work is covered by the installer’s own warranty. This document outlines the general warranty framework applicable to services arranged through our platform.
2. Installer’s Warranty
The independent installer provides a minimum 2‑year workmanship warranty on all installations. Additionally, heat pump equipment is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, typically ranging from 2 to 7 years depending on the brand. Please refer to the specific product documentation for exact terms.
3. What is Covered
- Defects arising from faulty installation workmanship.
- Manufacturer defects in the heat pump unit or associated components.
- Replacement or repair of parts that fail under normal use within the warranty period.
4. Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by improper use, neglect, or unauthorized modifications.
- Normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, or routine maintenance.
- Issues resulting from failure to follow the manufacturer’s operating instructions.
- Systems that have not been serviced annually by a qualified technician (if required by the manufacturer).
5. Making a Claim
To make a warranty claim, contact us at [email protected] or call +44 20 7946 0011. Provide your name, installation address, date of installation, and a description of the fault. We will coordinate with the installer to assess the claim. Response times are typically within 10 working days.
6. Transferability
The workmanship warranty may be transferred to a new homeowner, subject to the installer’s terms. Please inform us of any change of ownership to ensure continuous coverage.
7. Statutory Rights
This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights under UK consumer law, which remain unaffected.
8. Changes to Warranty Terms
Saideh LTD reserves the right to update these warranty terms. The latest version will always be available on our website.
